Polished Caymanite Semi Precious Stones From Cayman Brac, An Island In The Caribbean Sea. Total Stone Weight Is 4 Grams. Stone Dimensions Are Minimum 16 mm to 22 mm In Length. Minimum 14 mm In Width to 17 mm. Minimum 2 mm to 3 mm height. These Semi Precious Stones Are Only Found On Cayman Brac, Not To Be Confused With The Stones Found On Grand Cayman. This Is A Dolomite rock, It Is Nearly As Hard As Quartz. Caymanite Has Layers Of Color In Gentle Earth Tones, Created By The Different Mineral Deposits In Each Strata. Manganese Dominates The Black Layers, With Iron Producing Shades Of Red, And Nickel, Titanium And Copper Influencing Other Tones. Once Worked And Polished The Stones Are Truly Unique And Can Be Made Into A Wide Variety Of Jewelry.
